An Interview with Amit Fuhaar in Heart Talk

Reporter : Can mimics branch out as a dubbing artist in movies?

Amit : Of course. I have dubbed for Amitabh Bachchan twice – ina 20 minute documentary for Tata Timcon, featuring a look alike of the mega star and also for an ad film which was based on Kaun Banega Crorepati.

Reporter : What else you do besides mimicry?

Amit : I have anchored shows featuring Abhishek Bachchan, Govinda, Mithun Chakraborty, Madhuri Dixit, Monisha Koirala, Bipasa Basu, Udit Narayan, Alka Yagnik, Babul Supriya and etc. I also acted in Hindi teleserials – Shaktimaan, Hum hai Anari, Double Sawari, Baap Numbari Beta Dus Numbari.

Reporter : Which personalities are you adept at imitating?

Amit : I can imitate around 40 – 45 personalities including Sanjeev Kumar, Shahrukh Khan, Amol Palekar, Nana Patekar, Sunny Deol. My repertoire includes political personalities like Laloo Prasad Yadav and Rajiv Gandhi.
